Modifying Operator Tasks Settings

NOTE:
The following operation is available only if you have appropriate user authorizations.

 

  • The task status is Idle.
  1. In the Operator Tasks list, select the task.
  1. Click Edit.
  1. Modify one or more of the following settings:
    NOTE: If the task status is Failed you can only modify description and target. You cannot change the task name.
  • Task name
    NOTE:     The name of the task must be unique.
  • Description
  • Revert (Manual or Automatic)
    NOTE: This setting is available for editing only if the revert action was configured in the operator tasks template.
  • Target
  1. Click Save.

 

NOTICE

Regardless of the operator tasks template configuration, you can change the revert setting from Manual to Automatic or the other way around.

A message will inform you if you do not have appropriate authorizations to run the revert action automatically, and the task will be forced to start manually. You will also be asked about what to do:

If you click Yes the task will start with manual revert actions. The revert settings are read-only with the Automatic selected and the following message: Forced manual.


If you click No, the task will not be executed.
